Chitas

Sleeping pad

2 Yalmakas

2 Tzitzit

Black hat and jacket (shabbos clothing)

Good Hiking boots

Tennis shoes or sandals

Nalgene or Sigg bottle/camelpak (2 liters minimum)

Comfortable pants no cotton must be nylon type

Bathing suit

Windbreaker/jacket (can be worn during davening and on hikes, water resistant or proof)

Rain gear

Sunscreen min 30+SPF

(DARK) Sunglasses

Clothing*

Towel-small to medium

Toiletries

Laundry bag-mesh synthetic

Sleeping bag(30deg.)- Synthetic is bulkier and heavier but works when wet.  

Thermal Synthetic Top – Lightweight Polypros are inexpensive (Layer I)

Thermal Synthetic Bottoms- Light weight (Layer I)

Wool or wool blend socks- 2 pair hiking (Layer I)

Wool or Bunting, Pile, or Synthetic Shirt or sweater (Layer II)

Synthetic, Jacket (Layer III)

Wool or Synthetic Pants (Layer II)

Wool or Synthetic Gloves

Wool or Synthetic Hat-lightweight

 

Rain/Gore-Tex Pants (layer III)
